• Essential Learnings are used to align and link all resources, learning outcomes, and assessments.
• Teachers can prepare lesson plans based on student development levels. They can enter resources and assessment tasks as they need them.
• Parents and students can review lesson plans and resources to set up individual learning agreements.
• Teach at home parents can have a teacher identification login to assign lessons and review resources as well as enter their own private resources and tasks aligned to district standards.

• Report cards can be configured by the district in many forms: school type, site specific or level specific.
• All evaluation and course marks are aligned to the learning standards for every course for every grade level.
• Each essential learning can be scored directly as a report phrase with permanent retention.
• At risk students can be identified by sorting on student marks at the subject or benchmark level. A standard report can be generated from this list to flag all occurrences early so remedial assignments can be made. These assignments are indicated as appropriate in the curriculum framework.
• Student Improvement Plans can be created and linked to student performance levels.
• Marks below a set level can automatically prompt for selected comments.
• A cumulative report is automatically generated for year-end, transfer/withdrawals, or as requested. Standard test scores, such as CTBS, can be shown.

• TIMMS retrieves attendance and student roster information from the district data repository; i.e., WSIPC.
• Attendance and tardy information can be displayed on the report cards.
• An optional attendance module can be made available to each teacher desktop with positive reports linked to the site attendance office for each student. This will provide compliance reporting to the period level (course and section) for legal and security purposes.
• Student demographics, including telephone and address, etc. can be available to authorized users, including teachers.
• District attendance criteria will be used to report and describe attendance on report cards; e.g., by period or by half day, etc..

• The current AMS system can be developed to be used by the teacher directly with scores entered directly into the assessment module and integrated with other results and assessments.
• At the end of a grading period, a teacher will be able to simply authorize the final report and all scoring will be complete. No special in-service time needed to cross-reference gradebooks.

SYNECTICS provides TIMMS as a stand-alone system or in modules. In addition, our staff provides planning and evaluation of curriculum systems as well as the technology base for computers, networks, and resources. We have designed and installed fiber optics networks as well as integrated data information from existing records systems. Our consultants include curriculum and policy experts in education as well as technology.

TIMMS operates on Microsoft Windows NT and Ethernet WANs for PC and Apple client workstations.
